I was told that your facility is absolutely beautiful and the serving staff and caterer did a FANTASTIC job on the food and the ice cream! Also, Markey's did a great job with last minute audio hookup to our laptop. 

We’ve proudly hosted the Bloomington Handmade Market Winter Show at the Convention Center for nearly 15 years, and the experience has been wonderful. The staff truly feel like family—always accommodating, friendly, and perfectly balancing professionalism with genuine care. While the space isn’t quite perfect for our unique needs yet (we’re excited for the additional space upcoming in 2027), the team’s dedication makes it feel like the ideal place to showcase small business makers. Plus, the food offerings are stellar!

From day 1, the staff was invested in making sure our event was a success and that our attendees felt welcome. They were professional, had tremendous attention to detail, and gave a warm sense of Hoosier Hospitality. Within the venue, the Great Room provided a wonderful scene for our general sessions with plenty of natural light and great ambiance. The venue also allowed for multiple breakout spaces and dedicated staff rooms, which was a huge bonus. Bloomington, Indiana is a great destination for an event and the Monroe Convention Center is the perfect host.
